Welcome to the 2025 NE District UNH Event!

The UNH planning committee is delighted to host 41 teams from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and Connecticut at The Whittemore Center Arena here in Durham, NH!  Home to extensive granite formations, the White Mountains, and the birthplace of FIRST Robotics, New Hampshire is a wonderful setting to showcase the tenets of the FIRST program. Our committee has been working hard to bring you a safe and fun-filled weekend of intense robot competition with this year's arts-inspired season, and we can't wait to see what you have created!

You can read more about the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and the 2024-2025 season (Reefscape) below.

FIRST Robotics Competition

Combining the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology.

"We call FIRST Robotics Competition the ultimate Sport for the Mind. High-school student participants call it 'the hardest fun you’ll ever have.'

Under strict rules, limited time and resources, teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team 'brand,' hone teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. It’s as close to real-world engineering as a student can get. Volunteer professional mentors lend their time and talents to guide each team. "(via FIRSTInspires.org)

Reefscape: 2024 - 2025 Season

The ocean is more than what you can see on the horizon. Beneath the surface lies our planet’s most complex ecosystems, full of life and potential for exploration and learning, where each inhabitant has a role to play in building a thriving environment.

During the 2024-2025 FIRST season, FIRST® DIVE℠ presented by Qualcomm, teams will use their STEM and collaboration skills to explore life beneath the surface of the ocean. Along the way, we’ll uncover the potential in each of us to strengthen our community and innovate for a better world with healthy oceans. Join us as we explore the future.
